About Pre-Primary
We at DSPS understand the essence of nurturing and guiding young minds in a conducive environment where exploration and creativity can thrive. That is why Kindergarten at DSPS is based on the philosophy of learning through play. Designed to stimulate curiosity and foster holistic growth in young minds, we have custom-made our kindergarten curriculum, incorporating many engaging activities and interactive learning experiences. Through this carefully crafted curriculum, we aim to lay a strong foundation for a bright academic future, promoting social and emotional growth.
At DSPS Kindergarten, we prioritise building the essential skills children need — communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and curiosity.
What They Learn
Subjects at this stage: English, foundational numeracy and literacy readiness, environmental awareness, and structured play-based activity blocks. Language exposure begins with English as the primary medium of instruction.
Medium of Instruction & Languages
English-medium instruction, with early, age-appropriate exposure designed to build strong listening and speaking foundations before formal second/third language instruction begins in later primary years.
Faculty & Mentors
Our Pre-Primary faculty are specially trained in early-childhood pedagogy, chosen not just for qualifications but for their warmth and patience with very young learners. They recognise that at this age, every child's individuality matters more than any curriculum.
